Apropos of nothing, I saw Maslow quoted in a Private Wealth Management seminar the other day. I didn't think any bankers would have head of Abraham's work.
this year's word was stability - buying a place, putting down some roots and so on. obviously took a bit of a knock with the amount of travel I've been putting in, but there you go...
Anon Y Mouse - I think many more bankers will be hearing about Maslow, maybe as we develop a system that focuses more on what makes people happy than what makes people rich (we can but dream...:-) )

Um, I'm a banker, sort of, and I not only have heard of Maslow but studied bits too.
Anon Y Mouse is a banker too. What's his excuse?
I am a financial engineer, so we are supposed to be well read and have eclectic tastes.
& Mummy's only "sort of" a banker, according to her.
So, errr.....
But I have to say, I did not think anyone would take exception to my comment.
